Jan Steklík, Mixed Technique

On the occasion of an exhibit of Jan Steklík’s drawings at Libri Prohibiti an intercity and international gathering is being held, exploring the life and oeuvre of the multifaceted artist.
The evening will be launched by Jiří Gruntorád, while the authors of a monograph on the artist, Jozef Cseres and Terezie Petišková, will speak. Also
appearing will be Don Sparling and Gerald Turner, fellow members of the Crusaders School. Jiří Fiedor will discuss Jan Steklík’s 1990s exhibitions. The subsequent discussion will be chaired by Duňa Slavíková.
Josef Daněk and Blahoslav Rozbořil will deliver an art performance, while Annegret Heinl will be on hand with a performance lecture. A discussion following that will be chaired by Paul Wilson, with Karel Oujezdský and Aleš Lamr also set to appear.
