An Interview with Babutsa Pataraia / Why Should We Care? / Conference 2024
The Georgian human rights lawyer and feminist activist Babutsa Pataria was one of three finalists for the 2024 Václav Havel Human Rights Prize. In an interview, Pataria discusses the value of human rights awards and perceptions of feminism in her native country – and says that data shows that improvements are being seen in Georgia when it comes to gender and equality issues.
