From September the Václav Havel Library is operating at a new address. It took advantage of the opportunity to move its activities to Ostrovní 13 in Prague 1, to a building formerly used by the Czech Post. Until the end of June this year, the VHL held events for the public at Galerie Montmartre on Řetězová St. in Prague’s Old Town, which also housed the exhibition Václav Havel – Czech Myth, or Havel in a Nutshell. The Library’s operated its offices, archive and public reading room on Kateřinská St. in the New Town. The move “under one roof” took place during August and a new permanent exhibition will be accessible from October.
