Along with its name change to Václav Havel Airport on 5 October 2012, Prague Airport will also see the unveiling of a newly created artwork. The designer and architect Bořek Šípek, who worked with Mr. Havel during his time at the Prague Castle, is currently making an installation, an oval-shaped space, which will be located in the airport’s “Schengen” arrivals hall. The installation will acquaint travellers with the ideas of the country’s first post-revolution president.
