The Power of the Heroic Imagination of Václav Havel in New York

Columbia University in New York is holding an exhibition of photographs by Karel Cudlín, Oldřich Škácha, and Alan Pajer, entitled “Václav Havel – The Power of the Heroic Imagination,” until 19 April. The quotes which introduce each photograph have been taken from what was probably Havel’s most popular essay, 1978’s “The Power of the Powerless”.
The exhibition is being held by Columbia University in collaboration with Prague’s DOX Centre for Contemporary Art.
