David Vondráček: Killing, Czech Style

Zabíjení po česku (Killing, Czech Style) is documentary film that attempt to capture in the most rounded way possible the contradictory phenomenon of the so-called wild expulsions that occurred between the end of WWII and the Potsdam Conference, when around 700,000 Germans were expelled from Czechoslovakia.

Director David Vondráček will be present at the screening.

Petr Jančárek, Martin Vidlák: Václav Havel, Prague–Castle

Screening of two parts of a documentary mapping the presidency of Václav Havel in the years 1990–1992. The first part captures the first six months of Václav Havel’s presidency, i.e., the period between his first election as president and the first free elections in June 1990. The second part focuses on the playwright Václav Havel as an unconventional figure in the world of politics.
