Presentation of Knife by Salman Rushdie

The book Knife: Meditations After an Attempted Murder is an intimate meditation on life, loss and finding one’s feet again, penned by the world-renowned writer Salman Rushdie in response to an attack on him two years ago.
Salman Rushdie himself will be taking part online in the launch of the Czech edition of the book (under the title Nůž: Přemítání po pokusu o vraždu). In an interview with Sasha Michailidis he will talk not only about the attack and The Knife but also about his other works and plans for the future.
The interview will be followed by a discussion of the book with translator Martina Neradová and English scholar Ladislav Nagy.
The interview with Salman Rushdie will be conducted in English without translation while the subsequent debate will be in Czech.
