The work of Slovak reporter Tomáš Forró centres on crisis zones and military conflicts around the world. He will present the Czech translation of his new book Donbas (Paseka, 2020), in which he describes his reporting assignment inside the war in Ukraine, at the Václav Havel Library.
What surprised him most? What dangerous situations did he find himself in? What kind of people did he encounter and how did he go about getting their personal testimonies?
A discussion evening with the author and other journalists focused on events in Ukraine.
